Only the last value of each metric are stored in MySQL. It permit to do some computation to aggregate datas. The top plugin permit to have the unix top command output in the web-interface. For example, If you see a peak of CPU on a graph 2 day ago, just right-click on graph where is the peak and a window with the unix top output is showed : http://perfwatcher.org/images/screenshot4.png (It's available on Linux and Solaris for now) Regards, Cyril Le 11.05.2012 11:51, Jeremy MAURO a écrit : > Hi, > > This frontend seems promising, but I have some quick questions: > >> Apparently the collectd server has to push any update in a mysql server (is that correct?) does that scale better then using rrdtools? >> Secondly, on every client you are setting up the new plugin 'top' what is it? > > Thanks > > Cordialement, > Jeremy MAURO > > On 05/11/12 08:35, Cyril Feraudet wrote: > >> Hi all, >> >> I'm proud to inform you that a new Collectd front-end is available : http://perfwatcher.org/ [1] >> >> It actually used here in a French bank to monitor more than 4000 servers. >> >> Regards, >> >> Cyril Feraudet >> >> _______________________________________________ >> collectd mailing list >> [email protected] [2] >> http://mailman.verplant.org/listinfo/collectd [3] Links: ------ [1] http://perfwatcher.org/ [2] mailto:[email protected] [3] http://mailman.verplant.org/listinfo/collectd
