Abstract:
*NOTE: This is not part of the CS/ECE 507 Colloquium class.*

In this talk, you will discover that linguistics and biology share the same
mathematical foundations, and algorithms designed in one field can be easily
transferred to the other. We will show how algorithms from NLP can be applied
to speed up RNA folding.
