I like the idea of a multi-lingual site, in the sense that each NLC project gets access to a website which they can use as they like.
If this is what you have currently in mind (an internatinal site) I think the thread of discussion should be brought here. For starters, get an opinion from the NLC discussing the merits of an international site. What would it do, how would different languages relate to each other.
For example, if the site is intended as a translation site, you're not likely to get support. Personally, I am not interested in translation, and I know that at least the French project doesn't like it eaither. But on the other thand, if each NL project is master of their own site, and they can do whatever they want with it, then the site stands a better chance. It could provide something useful to the NL projects.
In any event, pleae also find out exactly what the multi-lingual abilities of "drupal" are. That would aid the discussion I think.
