Are you using the hd with an old version of Mac OS? There might be a size
limit for hard disks in old versions of Mac OS... Dunno, though...
With Linux PPC you get a more powerful disk formatting program than Apple's
own Disk Config, btw. Linux PPC is free - if your internet connection is
fast enough for downloading it... Otherwise you can buy it for about $40.
