well i have MacOs 9.1 and the problem is solved allready !
the thing was that maxtor did a wrong grafic for the jumper config in the info sheet
that comes with the disk. i found 5 days later on their webpage the same
infosheet but with other jumper selection then the infosheet that comes with the hd.
now it works fine.
thats stupid ! these guys at maxtor who did the infosheet stolen like 8 hours
of my live, just of that problem. maybe i should earlier checked their webpage.
