I forget the title, but it's a book about, a few years
ago Robert MacNamara and a bunch of other guys that ran
the Vietnam War for Kennedy and Johnson went to Hanoi for
a seminar with their Vietnamese counterparts, to talk about
how they all made crap decisions based on bad information,
and how could they avoid it happening the next time.
Yeah, MacNamara is a doofus, but the book is interesting.
So far it's only the beginning of the seminar, and the
Vietnamese are telling them, "Thank you for admitting all
your mistakes; of course thanks to our Marxist-based theo-
retical superiority, we didn't make any mistakes at all."
