Viktor Pelevin: "Babylon" (in Finnish and Russian the book is titled
"Generation P")

Babylon is basically a satire of a copywriter in today's Russia. ... but
that's just the beginning. The book starts with sort-of-realism, but
towards the end it throws in absurd humour, parody, surrealism and whatever
came up to to the mind of the writer.
