I was watching Episode 1 on Finnish TV. one shot (invading Naboo) looked very much like Dune. and another shot (Darth Maul sending the three surveillance drones tinto the desert town) looked a lot like Close Encounters. sci-fi fans go to a lot of effort t0 integrate story lines from the same series or from different series. look at star trek. I wonder if someone is gonna start writing a unified story bringing in star wars and ce3k, and maybe later hey don't forget dune, and iain banks's civilisation novels. f
