Indeed wrong :).
I was talking about passing 'decode=True' parameter in cli.pull() method -
then you do not need to do "decode('utf-8')' - it is done internally in the
pull method (and likely it handles all the cases). then you get dictionary as
result so you can do l['status] directly I believe.
