And what are chances cassandra-driver will get it? We'de rather prefer to have dependency on the 'cassandra` one, unless there are good reasons it's not a good idea? I would go and open an issue for them, they can bundle it better. they might take a while to address it. We do grantee compatibility, and I think we can do a quicker turn around on issues, if you or your users gonna run into any.
