Would you like to work on it @jc-harrison -> I can reopen it. After 2.5 years I have no idea if it's been closed by mistake, but if you want to work on it - I can re-open it and assign you. Other than that there is no reason to keep such an issue open if there is noone touching it for 2 years it's unlikely something will happen if i reopen it, so there is little point to it- and there is no particular reason to have such issue open - we do not need/expect such changes to have issues, we prefer and expect a PR to be opened by someone who wants to change it rather than see such an issue just "lying around".
