Good catch. A reference raising `RuntimeError` could escape the clear. `evaluate_with` is now inside the `try`, the handler catches `Exception`, and a regression test verifies that the clear completes, the deadline remains unchanged, and the failure is logged. Also rebased onto `main`. I left per-reference savepoints out for now, as failures after session changes would still poison the transaction.
