For posterity, it appears this was due to `session.expunge_all()` calls in `MetastoreBackend.get_connection()` and `MetastoreBackend.get_variable()`, which were fixed in https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/63080 and shipped in Airflow 3.2. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
