Do we know if this is CPU-bound, disk I/O bound, network-bandwidth bound, etc? If we create the image once but then read it multiple times, perhaps it's worth using a compression level or algo that takes a bit longer or produces a slightly larger file, but is cheaper/faster to decompress? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
