Side note - I feel a bit sad, bitter and tired, to be honest, that in this
whole discussion I keep on proposing solutions, where I only get ("it's too
hard to maintain") argument and no constructive proposals whatsoever, on how we
can solve the problem of our users. A problem that I clearly laid out and
experienced on my own by trying to rebuild the images when I first approached
in the very same way as our users would approach.
