I think I should we should discuss this separately because again you are talking about the exporter image while I am discussing about the process. I am sorry you feel sad, bitter and tired but clearly the general problem you are mentioning is "not really a problem" in my opinion, I will mention it again "if the sources are available and there is no licensing issue". How many users would spend time daily building the binaries? Realistically how many users will build the sources for the Dockefiles? Sources being open is generally needed so you have the confidence in the binary being used too. Clearly there will be more projects out there will no proper instruction on building sources. And that is why there is "no constructive proposal". I will reiterate I don't have problem with the script, making it a requirement for all the sources is what I am arguing against. And since I feel the same way as you that this discussion is heading nowhere at all.
