This is good to know, thank you! Then, maybe, I have another bug to report, but 
I need to check it thoroughly. 
I was using this here as a workaround, since I couldn't set the timestamps on a 
bounded source back in time (reading and parsing logs via TextIO). 

Can you give me a hint what "most of the time" means? Is it true for TextIO?
