You are right - we need to update the tag of the containers to be used by the
release branch to 2.2.0 in [1] and [2]:
However to build the container we need to have a snapshot of the codebase that
is an RC.
In the short timespan between the time when we update the version and build the
containers, the release branch will be broken.
