Adding a new `mirror-info` format string was recently [raised on the mailing list](https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/tg1zn20n523yfkdkhbzozg0tnscov32t) and in the Matrix channel. The addition of this new format string would provide users with information about mirrors beyond what `source-info` currently provides (just an unaliased upstream URL) and would allow tooling like [BuildStream-SBOM](https://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream-sbom), which wraps `bst show`, to have functionality related directly to mirrors. The output should include at least: - the unalised URL - the aliased URL - any mirror URLs This can be used in exactly the same way `source-info`, nothing special is required, it just provides different information through `bst show`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
