Thanks for pointing that out, @jamesnetherton! That's very helpful—having camel.rest.data-format-properties[autoDiscoverObjectMapper]=true directly in application.properties already provides a clean, global way to configure this without writing boilerplate in Java DSL routes. In that case, code changes are unnecessary. Would it be beneficial if I updated the Jackson extension documentation (usage.adoc) in the PR to mention this application.properties option alongside the Java route configuration snippet?
