Thanks, good catch. In b22784c781d4 the event consumer waits `Math.max(1, blockSeconds)` seconds before it queries again after a failed query, like the kv consumer does. After a normal answer it still waits `blockSeconds`, so the blocking query itself is unchanged. The new test `testFailedQueryIsRetriedAfterOneSecondWithoutBlockSeconds` uses `blockSeconds=0` and checks that the retry comes at least one second after the failure.
