Processor exceptions are captured by the `performAssertions()` override in `CitrusEndpoint`, which adds them to MockEndpoint's failures list. For the `validate` operation, the exception is also cleared from the exchange so it doesn't propagate through the route's error handling. For the `receive` operation, the exception remains on the exchange (to trigger a proper error response to the caller). ########## components/camel-test/camel-test-citrus/src/main/java/org/apache/camel/component/citrus/CitrusProducer.java: ########## @@ -0,0 +1,221 @@ +/* + * Licensed to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) under one or more + * contributor license agreements. Exchange variables (`exchange.getVariables()`) are now the primary mechanism for Citrus variable propagation. Both exchange properties and exchange variables are propagated into the Citrus test context, and newly extracted variables are written back as exchange variables (not properties). The `writeBackExtractedVariables()` method also filters Citrus internals (`citrus.` / `CITRUS_` prefixes) and skips keys already present in exchange properties. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
