_Claude Code on behalf of seshuthota_ JIRA: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25923 ## Description `unmarshal` with `allowNullBody=true` dropped the message headers when the body was null. The null-body path called `exchange.getOut()` without copying the in message, so the out message started empty (since CAMEL-17720). Following the ticket's proposed change, a null body that is allowed now leaves the message as it is, the same way `marshal` does. `variableReceive` is still set to null. A non-null body is unmarshalled as before. ## Tests - `UnmarshalProcessorTest.testAllowNullBody` now checks the message and its header are kept. - New `UnmarshalAllowNullBodyTest` (5 tests), covering headers, `variableSend` and `variableReceive`. - These tests fail on the unfixed code and pass with the fix. - Full camel-core, and camel-jackson, jaxb, gson, bindy and csv all pass. ## Docs One sentence in `unmarshal-eip.adoc`, plus the catalog copy. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
