@ramu11 For awareness during implementation and review: I opened [CAMEL-26111 — camel-mcp-server: support progressive discovery and invocation of searchable ai-tool routes](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-26111). This tracks the server-side follow-up separately from the producer-side tool search in this PR. The current MCP server bridge publishes all tag-selected route tools and does not consume `searchable=true`. The new issue proposes an opt-in discovery mode that reuses the shared index here, keeps ordinary tools directly exposed, and gives external MCP clients a reliable way to discover **and invoke** searchable routes. One design constraint to keep in view: returning tool names/schema text alone does not register functions in an external client. The current MCP specification also prohibits varying `tools/list` per connection or as a side effect of other requests. The issue therefore calls for an explicit invocation contract; a stable `search_tools` + `call_tool` surface is one candidate, with client/engine compatibility tests and existing filtering, validation and authorization preserved. _AI-generated comment by Codex on behalf of @Croway._ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
