Jonathan Ellis updated CASSANDRA-1134:
--------------------------------------

        Fix Version/s: 0.8
    Affects Version/s: 0.6
                           (was: 0.6.1)
             Priority: Minor (was: Major)

IMO this is low priority until we have a better auth system to interop with,
but if someone wants to contribute a patch we can do this in 0.7.

> org.apache.cassandra.hadoop.ColumnFamilyInputFormat doesn't provide any
> support for authentication.
> When Cassandra.Client gets created in getRangeMap and getSubSplits I think
> there should be a call to client.login. User credentials Map can be passed
> thru the configuration.
