Joshua McKenzie commented on CASSANDRA-8594:
--------------------------------------------
Right - I read that as
{noformat}
/usr/sbin/cassandra -b -p "$PIDFILE"
{noformat}
pushing through to the install's bin/cassandra based on the contents of
cassandra.install
{noformat}
bin/cassandra usr/sbin
{noformat}
meaning it would all settle out with the -p writing to disk at the line I
linked; I should have been more clean on that entire chain.
