The original PR didn't solve the issue because some C* code changed
concurrently. I filed PR
[#1196|https://github.com/riptano/cassandra-dtest/pull/1196] to address this,
which was merged.
This looks fixed as of the latest trunk dtest run on Windows
[here|http://cassci.datastax.com/job/trunk_dtest_win32/491/testReport/jmx_auth_test/TestJMXAuth/basic_auth_test/].
