Would the spirit of this issue carry over into generally improving unit testing
coverage over the metrics? For instance I noticed that {{BatchMetricsTest}}
covers only two of the three {{BatchMetrics}} - logged and unlogged but not
counter. If it would be deemed helpful, I could make an effort to try to make
improvements in areas like this. Thoughts?
