continuous delivery of the website happens from ci-cassandra.a.o builds of the
cassandra-website repository to https://cassandra.staged.apache.org
This doesn't directly address this issue, builds off the cassandra repository
can't result in their docs being deployed to the website. But it does simplify
the process of updating the website (and provides a live staging view).
If the in-tree docs are updated, then can be deployed to
https://cassandra.staged.apache.org by going into
https://ci-cassandra.apache.org/job/cassandra-website/ and clicking "Build
Now". When the build is complete then https://cassandra.staged.apache.org will
be updated.
Maybe this ticket can be used instead for adding a building and testing step
into CI for the in-tree docs? What do you think [~sumanth.pasupuleti]?
