Caleb Rackliffe commented on CASSANDRA-16181:
---------------------------------------------
[~adelapena] I've added three new commits shoring up our coverage of logged and
unlogged batches. Along the way, I had to do some surgery on the way the in-JVM
framework serializes messages, so we'll have to work out whether [what I've
done|https://github.com/apache/cassandra/pull/821/commits/a715388a1c7029f5a76e0061715856fe1c3bb391#diff-321b52220c5bd0aaadf275a845143eb208c889c2696ba0d48a5fc880551131d8R313-R333]
there is clean enough.

> This is a subtask of CASSANDRA-15579 focusing on replication.
> I think that the main reference dtest for this is
> [replication_test.py|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-dtest/blob/master/replication_test.py].
> We should identify which other tests cover this and identify what should be
> extended, similarly to what has been done with CASSANDRA-15977.
> The doc

> describes the existing state of testing around replication.
