Your archive links are broken. There may very well be other problems with this
test, but the race was the most visible one.

Thanks. It won't be visible in the system logs since it causes a python error,
but I couldn't find that, either. That said, it was observable when running
the snapshot test suite locally in a loop, where multiple tests failed from the
race being in a common function.
