I am back to this one in regards to the JDK 17 support.
Jacoco needs to be 0.8.8 as 0.8.7(our current version on trunk) provides only
experimental JDK 17 support.
In another ticket ASM was updated the other day to latest version.
I will try to look here into Byteman and Jacoco update and whether that will
fix the mentioned issues (that was a year ago... and many things have changed)
or what else we need to do.
