Jon Haddad commented on CASSANDRA-17948:
----------------------------------------
Rather than dealing with storing all the log messages on disk and in memory,
what about reading the actual logs off disk when the virtual table is accessed?
I was thinking about doing this for a GC history virtual table.
> Get warning and errors through virtual tables

> Project: Cassandra

> Priority: Normal
>
> The warnings and errors are currently only accessible through Cassandra logs.
> Automating the monitoring of the nodes would be much easier/secure if we can
> make use of virtual tables to get the logs.
