Benedict Elliott Smith commented on CASSANDRA-17976:
----------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately not really. It's probably not independently publishable, but I
think the optimisations are either 1) entirely obvious and sort of assumed to
be done by implementations, or 2) pretty novel, and not seen elsewhere, largely
because other systems assume MultiPaxos (or Raft), whereas we are optimising
"Classic Paxos"
There's the presentation I gave at ApacheCon a little while back that discusses
the optimisations.
Perhaps we should try to publish something describing the work. Unfortunately
the Accord white paper was a very large piece of work to produce, and while
this would no doubt be easier, it would be hard to justify a comparable
investment for work we expect to have a modest shelf life (being rapidly
deprecated by Accord).
bq. "Accord Consensus" our cwiki is result 8
That is a little disappointing!

> The page still says 4.0 and lists 4.0 new developments.
> We need to point to 4.1 and list latest developments blog posts, docs;
> probably we can also link NEWS.txt and CHANGES.txt
