Looking one more time into the upgrade tests methods actually we have two
issues with upgrade tests:
* the matrix fixes the lower bound (If we start/got through a version which
does not build with specific JDK version we skip it). So not an issue per se,
the matrix is checking that but it is confusing when reading tests why we have
mentioned start versions for paths we will not support upgrades at all.
* upper bound of a version to upgrade to should be changed on branching new
major, that part is for another ticket IMO but we should not forget to consider
it. If it is not already a part of any of the other tickets for CI/release
management, I can open one so we do not forget about this (knowing myself I
will forget if I do not write it down :( )
