I think we're talking different things. In skinny mode the separate workflows
are left almost empty so they could be deleted if the tooling in place allows
for it. _Only_ in skinny mode. Nothing else. everything outside skinny mode
remains the same.
The main point is not to ease clicking, which does indeed, but to save time,
resources and reduce CI cost.
