Doug Rohrer commented on CASSSIDECAR-277:
-----------------------------------------
The submitted Github PR ([GitHub Pull Request
#299|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-sidecar/pull/299]) enables testing on
current trunk with TCM by updating the ByteBuddy interceptions to handle both
pre and post-TCM cases, and reworking tests that leveraged unsafe range
movements where possible, and removing them completely where the test was not
possible to complete without the unsafe movements (double/half cluster tests
for example, which would require coordination/scheduling of changes to be
replica-safe in the "real world").
> Support all active C* branches out of the box (all GA releases + trunk)

> The sidecar should support all actively release and developing C* branches
> out of the box up to and including trunk. We’ll need to determine if we
> should also test against HEAD on each GA branch to confirm no regression on
> sidecar functionality at time of a C* release; this is something we could
> probably do on a weekly cadence or as a human-in-the-loop step prior to a new
> C* release being cut.
