We are installing RPM (at least, not sure about DEB) with version which has "-"
at the end. Seems to me like some leftover from times of "0.4.0-SNAPSHOT" or
similar.

[root@spark-master-1 logs]# yum list | grep sidecar
apache-cassandra-sidecar.noarch 0.4.0-

I took RPM from here
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/cassandra/cassandra-sidecar/0.4.0/
