code asserts that SSTableScanner is Closeable
final SSTableScanner scanner = sstable.getScanner(filter);
scanner.seekTo(startWith);
- assert scanner instanceof Closeable; // otherwise we leak FDs
always is, unless null, but of course the line before would throw NPE.
Just confusing.
