I don't think this gets us very close to real UDF support
(http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/sql-createfunction.html) but I'm not
sure you want to block on that. If ZADD is your goal I think we'd be okay with
hardcoding some functions to start with. [~slebresne] [~thobbs]?
