Edward Capriolo commented on CASSANDRA-6895:
--------------------------------------------

I do not think it is MAJOR either that is the default value in jira. From my
standpoint it makes more sense for a function named remove() to fully complete
the remove in the data structure.

It is how it is for a reason.

Can you please explain to me why a function named internalRemove() does not
fully update the data structure and relies on code inside iterator to finish
the job? I would like to understand.

> ArrayBackedSortedColumns removeInternal should update sortedsize

> I was trying to use ArrayBackedblabla directly and I noticed that while
> internalAdd updates the sorted size internal remove does not.
