@Noelantogerorge Take a look in your zone configuration and see if you specified 8.8.8.8 as your "Internal DNS 1". If so, remove it and only specify 8.8.8.8 as your external dns and the static route should be removed once you restart the SSVM. You can find that under Infrastructure / Zones / The Name of Your Zone.
