I think this is a valid issue and can be considered as improvement request The root admin should be able to take a call to allow login via normal ldap credentials when saml auth is disabled We could Introduce a new parameter "usersoruce" in the updateuser api call https://cloudstack.apache.org/api/apidocs-4.20/apis/updateUser.html Currently its set to saml disabled  -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
