Also test if the latest release and master branch are affected too. Always add information AFTER of these HTML comments, but no need to delete the comments. --> ##### ISSUE TYPE <!-- Pick one below and delete the rest --> * Bug Report ##### COMPONENT NAME <!-- Categorize the issue, e.g. API, VR, VPN, UI, etc. --> ~~ VM HA failover, zone wide primary storage ~~~ ##### CLOUDSTACK VERSION <!-- New line separated list of affected versions, commit ID for issues on master branch. --> 4.11 ~~~ ~~~ ##### CONFIGURATION <!-- Information about the configuration if relevant, e.g. basic network, advanced networking, etc. N/A otherwise --> Using basic networking with 3 NICs, (management, Guest and storage). Also tested with dual NIC setup (management and storage on same NIC, Guest traffic on separate NIC). ##### OS / ENVIRONMENT <!-- Information about the environment if relevant, N/A otherwise --> ##### SUMMARY <!-- Explain the problem/feature briefly --> With all traffic running over a single NIC (management. Guest and storage) using zone wide NFS primary storage pulling the power to a compute node results in the HA enabled VMs on that node being migrated to other nodes as expected. With the dual or 3 NIC setup using zone wide NFS primary storage VM HA does not work. If you switch to cluster wide primary storage VM HA works for all of the above. ##### STEPS TO REPRODUCE <!-- Configure basic networking and split traffic across multiple NICs as above and use zone wide NFS. Pull the power on one of the compute nodes and it will eventually go to Alert state but never gets to the Down state so the VMs are never migrated. . --> <!-- Paste example playbooks or commands between quotes below --> ~~~ ~~~ <!-- You can also paste gist.github.com links for larger files --> ##### EXPECTED RESULTS <!-- What did you expect to happen when running the steps above? --> ~~~ ~~~ ##### ACTUAL RESULTS <!-- What actually happened? --> <!-- Paste verbatim command output between quotes below --> ~~~ ~~~
