    systemvm: baremetal-vr: reduce memory usage (#2866)
    
    We see a suspicious continuous increase in memory usage. Kind of looks like 
a memory leak.
    
    One thing noted during debugging is that flask is started in debug mode. 
This is not best practice for a production system.
