Thanks I finally fixed my installation. The ultimate problem was, that a upgrade+reboot and some network configure script destroyed my `cloudbr0` and so started VM's weren't able to access any outside network. So SSVM could never download the image. I fixed the network and restarted the cloud-management server and `cloud.service` in the SSVM. From a user perspective it would be nice if I could see if the template image was correctly downloaded, or maybe see some error from the download manager.
