In reply to a comment by Alan: 1) <bean id="hello" class="demo.spring.HelloWorldImpl" /> should be <bean id="hello" class="demo.spring.service.HelloWorldImpl" /> 2) <import resource="classpath:META-INF/cxf/cxf-extension-http.xml" /> <import resource="classpath:META-INF/cxf/cxf-extension-soap.xml" /> These imports should be listed in the cxf servlet that we create.
