Writing a service with SpringPage comment added by Glen MazzaCXF 2.8 will probably start using Spring 3.2. CXF is already mostly configurable via JAX-WS annotations, presently requiring only a small Spring config file: http://www.jroller.com/gmazza/entry/web_service_tutorial#WFstep6.
In reply to a comment by Torben Vesterager:
That's nice and all, but we've had Spring 3.1 and annotations for quite some time now - when will Apache CXF be configurable from annotations only? Edit: Yep, we've had Spring 3.1 for one year now: http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=70852
