I'm following the sequence of events as follows: multiple standalone editors and then do a debugging session, close all of the standalone editors, the cmd window remains, then complete the debug session, the cmd window closes. I'd say this falls under intentional behavior-- what if the user closed the data editor window for the data file and needed to re-open it? > > I also noticed that when stepping through the dfdl debug session, all the editors display the _byte1Pos_ indication instead of it only appearing on the target data file for the debug session.
