@leerho Thanks for working on this! Could you explain why this PR includes commits dating back to 2023? I am not very familiar with the history of this repo. Additionally, because it includes such a long history, I can't tell if this is a refactor (splitting a single module into multiple modules) or if you just brought in existing code from branch 7.0 and updated the GitHub Actions.
